MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN – LAE. Applications close on Friday, 14th August 2026 at 5:00pm

Chemcare Group Limited is seeking a qualified and motivated Medical Lab Technician to join our Medical Laboratory team based at our CareClinic Lae.

Reporting to the Medical Technologist and General Medical Practitioner, this role will perform laboratory testing and provide accurate, timely results to support quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • • Perform routine laboratory tests on blood, urine and other specimens.
  • • Verify and report accurate test results.
  • • Conduct blood grouping and compatibility testing.
  • • Maintain quality control and laboratory standards.
  • • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
  • • Ensure proper documentation and specimen traceability.
  • • Follow infection control, safety and confidentiality procedures.
  • • Monitor laboratory supplies and reagent stock.
  • This role is ideal for a professional who is detail-oriented, committed to quality patient care and able to work effectively in a busy laboratory environment.
  • Skills / Qualification / Experience:
  • • Diploma graduate in in Medical Lab Science or an equivalent qualification.
  • • Registered with PNG Medical Board (preferred).
  • • Experience in blood collection, sampling and working in a clinical laboratory environment.
  • • Knowledge and experience in malaria smear preparation and interpretation.
  • • Familiarity with automated laboratory equipment and laboratory information systems.
  • • Strong analytical, organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • • Commitment to maintaining high professional and ethical standards.

 

PROPERTY SUPERVISOR - LAE

Chemcare Group Limited is seeking a motivated and organised Property Supervisor to join our team based in Lae. Reporting to the Group Security Manager, this role is responsible for managing company staff accommodation, ensuring properties are well maintained, and secure.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Manage staff accommodation leases and maintain accurate property records.
  • Conduct routine property inspections and ensure accommodation standards are maintained.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance with contractors and relevant departments.
  • Monitor and follow up maintenance requests and utilities issues.
  • Liaise with tenants and communicate accommodation notices and policies.
  • Coordinate staff accommodation allocations, entry and exit inspections.
  • Prepare property reports and maintain inspection documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company accommodation policies and procedures.

 

This role is ideal for someone who is organised, proactive and able to manage multiple properties while maintaining positive relationships with staff and service providers

Skills / Qualification / Experience:

  • Qualification in Property Management, Facilities Management, Building, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in property or facilities management.
  • Valid PNG Driver's Licence.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and email.
  • Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Sound knowledge of property maintenance and contractor coordination.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism and attention to detail.
